Is the Arya Sabha also playing the game of the politicians ?

The Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC-TV and Radio) mentioned that the President (sic) of the Arya Sabha, Dr. Roodrasen NEEWOOR, Arya Bhushan, also addressed the media during the Press Conference of the Hindu Common Front held on the 7th of February 2013 and broadcasted on the MBC-TV for more than 10 minutes on the same evening. Dr. Roodrasen Neewoor is the vice-President of the Arya Sabha and his association with the band of Dulthumun has taken a shot on the reputation of the Sabha. The language held especially by Mr Dulthumun is condemnable by all communities in Mauritius, more so by the Hindu Community since his stand has put the Hindu in a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation vis-à-vis the brothers and sisters of other communities. Is it not a shame for the Arya Sabha that Dr. Neewoor was present on that platform ?
The Arya Sabha works towards the goals of the Arya Samaj, namely – Krinvanto VishwamAryam (make the world noble) ; Vasudaiva Kutumbakam (treat the world as one family) ; and to do good to the whole world.
Though Dr. Neewoor is Arya Bhushan by title, is he aware of the meaning of the “Arya Samaj” ? What does “Arya” mean ? Not a race, not a member of a caste or class, but a person, any person, of highest nature (shreshtha), character and conduct, pious, dedicated to dharma, seriously motivated, a pursuant of truth and knowledge, honest in thought, word and deed. Such people on earth from any community are dedicated to the progress of knowledge, righteousness, peace and happiness of the world. They are knowledgeable, self-fulfilled, divinely blessed, because they live Dharma, truth and universal values of life – Rigveda says “Indram vardhanto apturah, Krinvanto Vishvam Aryam..”
The Aryas make the world noble, reducing and eliminating the causes of suffering, forces of negativity, uncreativity, selfishness, exploitation, fear and terror. They are dynamic, enlightened, creative, and constructive, in the direction of positive progress, peace and happiness of all.
The meaning of the word Samaj is 'a united, integrated, harmonious, living and vibrant community, itself moving and advancing towards a life of peace and comprehensive all round progress, physically, mentally, culturally and spiritually, for the individual and society as a whole. The ideal of such a creative community is revealed in the Sangathan Sukta of Rigveda.
The Arya Samaj, since its creation by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati has been propagating the message of equality and unity among all human beings, guided by ten basic principles. The first five principles speak of Truth and the other five of a society with nobility, civics, co living and disciplined life. The fifth principle says that “One should do everything according to the dictates of Dharma, i. e. after due reflection over right and wrong.”
Dr. Neewoor’s association with Mr Dulthumun is it not a concrete example that the vice-President of the Arya Sabha is unaware of the principles and foundations of the Arya Samaj itself? This blatantly shameless and perilous act of Dr Neewoor has discredited the Arya Sabha as an institution and numbs every right thinking Mauritian. No wonder why the number of Hindus being converted to other religions is increasing daily. Instead of forming a Hindu Front to play the game of politicians for personal gains, do your dharma properly and start working to keep the Hindus together so that we do not lose any more. Remember we all have to pay for our actions one day !
