Who is trying to destabilize a properly elected government by having advised President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim to institute her own Commission of Inquiry? This exercise could be regarded as a Coup d’Etat académique against the PM and his government. Only the PM, with the assent of the Cabinet, can constitute a Commission of Inquiry, not a President of the Republic. Many detractors of the government, including some Opposition members, are doing their utmost to violate our Constitution to serve their own cause. Is there a case of conspiracy to pervert the cause of justice? It is obvious that these detractors have got a dangerous hidden agenda.
