Un Survey du Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD) indique que les allocations versées à des Chairmen de Board de compagnies dans le privé peuvent atteindre jusqu’à Rs 1 million par an. Pour les autres membres du conseil d’administration, les honoraires annuels varient de Rs 315 000 à Rs 400 000.
« The median value of annual retainer fees for the board chair have significantly increased since the last Korn Ferry study conducted in 2018 – from Rs. 240,000 to Rs. 825,000. In addition to retainer fees, where companies also pay meeting fees to their directors, these typically range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000. At the median rate, Total Annual Remuneration paid to the board chair is Rs. 1,000,000 per year – this figure represents the annual retainer fee plus meeting fees and other allowances. It is interesting to note that the median annual retainer fee for independent NEDs is noticeably higher than that for NEDs », note le rapport rendu public ce matin.
