La Government Servants Employees Association (GSEA) craint que les Standing Allowance Payments qui sont dus aux sapeurs-pompiers ne soient pas payés à la fin du mois. Elle a ainsi adressé une lettre au Junior Minister aux Finances, Dhaneswar Damry. Elle soutient : « The sudden cessation of the allowances would result in significant financial hardship for many, given their salary packet. Such an outcome would not only disrupt their livelihoods but also impact the morals and stability of our essential emergency response. »
