ÉCURIE RAMESHWAR GUJADHUR : Beach Club from pillar to post

Après Baynesfield une semaine plus tôt, l’écurie Rameshwar Gujadhur a poursuivi sur le même rythme samedi dernier en remportant sa deuxième victoire de la saison par l’entremise de Beach Club. Ce hongre alezan de 7 ans s’est imposé sans forcer son talent, remportant par la même occasion sa quatrième victoire depuis qu’il évolue sur notre turf.
Si pour certains il a été une petite déception à sa reprise avec la compétition le 7 avril dernier, Beach Cluba brillamment remis les pendules à l’heure dans l’épreuve de clôture au terme d’une course effectuée de bout en bout. Une victoire qui a fait très plaisir à Mark Neisius qui, cependant, ne s’attendait pas à avoir une course aussi limpide. « Actually I thought I would have to battle to go to the front. I was indeed expecting some pace from my inside with Southern Heightsand from my outside as well with Archangel Michael.I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in front without making any sort of effort. The race thereon planned up beautifully for me. I could control my own pace and waited as long as possible as no one challenged me. When I asked him for his effort, he quickened nicely. It was a very nice win and I’m happy for myself and for the stable as well », nous a déclaré un Mark Neisius qui pouvait à peine cacher sa satisfaction. Selon lui, il n’est pas nécessaire que ce cheval impose sa loi pour bien faire. Pour moi, il était le cheval à battre d’autant qu’il avait l’avantage d’une course dans les jambes et s’élançait d’une bonne ligne. Dès qu’il a bondi de sa stalle pour prendre la position tête et corde, je me suis dit que «the cat was in the bag. »
Si Beach Cluba été exact au rendez-vous, en revanche le très chuchoté Smittenrata sa cible dans la troisième épreuve. Evoluant dans une striking position, le hongre bai brun fut incapable de changer de vitesse en fin de parcours, se contentant d’une modeste quatrième place à 2L de Isipho. « He was neither unlucky nor disappointing.
