Between 7th and 9th January 2013, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) will be held in Cochin, Kerala, in south west India, with the central theme being Engaging the Diaspora : The Indian Growth Story. This year marks the tenth anniversary since the PBD was held for the first time in New Delhi, India. Ever since then, a lot has been accomplished in terms of reinforcing the links between the members of the overseas Indian Diaspora and India. After all, this was clearly seen with the success of the recent Regional PBD which was held in Mauritius in October 2012.
