Indian cinema’s centenary (1913-2013)

The centennial Indian cinema is popular not only throughout the peninsula and in the neighbouring countries but also across the world. People of all races, religions and cultures like watching Indian films that, thanks to translations and subtitles in various languages, can be appreciated. Indian cinema helps evoke India’s uniquely inclusive culture, which the author, a researcher, promotes through his Organisation for Diaspora Initiatives wedded to intra-culturalism in the special plural Mauritian society.
