Dans sa déposition, Jessika Rosun souligne : « While waiting for the accreditation…, I told him (Kaysee Teeroovengadum) that I received my equipment on Friday and we have to leave on Saturday and when i tried my skirt on, the zip just broke. He said… : « You might have something else in front which is why it broke. » I was not the only person there that heard that, the other athletes and coach Frankie Le Bon was there waiting for accreditation. I took it to mean that he was suggesting that I had a penis. His comments made me embarrassed in front of my teammates… I didn’t reply. »

Kaysee Teeroovengadum lui aura alors lancé : « You should act like a educator (Jessika Rosun étant enseignante de profession). Celle-ci lui répond : « You should behave like you are talking to a woman. » Et Kaysee Teeroovengadum de répliquer : « Oh really, are you a woman ? »

L’athlète poursuit : « You should not behave like that. » « I was only joking », lui dira Kaysee Teeroovengadum. « I don’t like these kinds of jokes », réplique-t-elle. Et à Kaysee Teeroovengadum d’ajouter : « But I didn’t say it in front of the others.

Le récit : « He came knocking at our door and entered our apartment saying… You are not respectful, you have no values, you should have waited for me because I asked you to do so. Who from the team told you to leave ? »« Joanilla Janvier was with me. I said : « I didn’t hear anyone say that, we just left because we were tired. » He said : « If anyone goes against me or my authority, I can have you deported. This is what I did in Rio two days after the arrival of someone, so I’m not afraid to do that. » He had said this before to others athletes in front of others athletes. He left our room and said he would send an email to the president of our athletics federation, Vivian Gngaram, and tell him what happened. I felt like he was trying to intimidate us by using his authority this way.

I had a photograph with him… and then had a group photograph. We bunched in together and Kaysee at first put his hand on my waist and then he moved his hand ro my right butt cheeek and squeezed it twice. I was shocked… and I grabbed Frankie Le bon trying to get his attention… I felt frozen with shock, this was really unexpected and I thought « what the hell is he doing ? »

« I said i don’t want anyone else to know about this, because I was worried about reprisals. I said I don’t want to go forward because I don’t want problems. I know I’m not guilty, because he is the one that did that act. » Richard Papie said : « I appreciate that you came to see us and face Kaysee and you should think about the reputation of Mauritius and we are here for the games. I might work with Kaysee but if that happened then we will be fair. » Philip said : « You might have taken the decision not to go forward with that, but once in Mauritius, we will do an internal investigation and if we have to take actions, we will. »

« … During the meeting, Kaysee said to me : « When did this happen ? I didn’t do that. I don’t remember doing that at all. May be it’s in your head. » I said : « I know very well where my butt is and I felt your hands squeezing it twice. » He said : « If I did do that intentionally or not, then I’m sorry. » Philippe said : « This is what I expected at least he apologised. » Frankie the said : « It’s too easy to apologise. I could do that everyday to Jessika (Selma) and then say sorry I did that. » During the meeting, Kaysee just stared at me… but I needed to tell everything no matter what the consequences… »
