When the notorious Trojan Horse
of unexamined prejudice
stalks past the unsuspecting
gate-keepers of reason,
there is hardly anything
that can be done
to staunch its onslaught
upon the citadel of enlightenment.
In the grand sweep of history
the tendentious intellect
selectively finds the particularity
to derive generality-
the classic case of historicism,
the past being a predictor of futurism.
