Positive Thoughts

“If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even I do not have it at the beginning”. (Mahatma Gandhi)
People often wonder how to be positive in their thoughts and actions, especially, when they are unhappy and unsatisfied or when life is difficult or tough to deal with.
It is rather easier to feel positive when everything goes well, but real positive thinking is revealed when one can maintain it in difficult times. It is then that you need it the most.
But most people do not know how to be positive and what they need to do.
It is all a matter of attitude and thinking.
If we keep having the same thoughts, they will eventually tend to manifest in our  world, which means that if we desire good things, we need to be careful about our thoughts. We have to stay and think positive.
It is, in fact, our mind that creates the kind of life we live. If we think positively, we will transform our life accordingly.
You may read books on positive thinking and think that you are positive, but when difficulties appear, you just forget about everything positive, instead of believing in yourself, looking for solutions and seizing opportunities.
Example:
If you have lost your way in a forest, will thoughts about your predicament help you? If you just sit down on a rock, and think and imagine, will that help you in any way?
You are unhappy and negative because of how you think, but you can change the way you think.
“Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment, full effort is victory.” (Mahatma Gandhi)
Learning to feel, think and even act, as if we are already living the perfect visualized life, happiness and new opportunities will surely knock at our door.
Association with positive, active and loving people can boost up our inspiration towards great achievements.
Look for the good, or at least something useful to learn, even in difficulties or unpleasant situations.
Keeping a positive attitude, expecting the best, striving to do the best and refusing to indulge in self-pity, negative thinking and worries is the road to a happier life and success.
The trick is the habit of maintaining happiness in our everyday life. The effort lies when we substitute negative thoughts by the positive ones, no matter how hard it might appear.
One needs to maintain strong will-power and self-discipline to conquer positiveness.
“Indeed one’s faith, in one’s plans and methods is truly tested when the horizon before one is the blackest”. (Mahatma Gandhi)
The truth is simply: Your thoughts control your world. If you firmly stand guard at the door of your mind, and let only the very best thoughts enter, you will be happy, healthy and serene.
If you let negative thoughts, then past and future experience will dominate your mind.
Therefore, be a firm guardian of each and every thought that enters your mind and make certain it is of the highest quality.
Everything is created twice – first in your mind and then in the outside world. Just a builder first designs a building on paper before he starts to build it, you must create all that you desire in your mind’s eye.
“The surface of your thoughts determines your character” (Robin Sharma)
Understand that pain is a teacher and there are no negative events in life, only outcomes which you can choose to view in a positive light if you wish.
“True winners see problems as opportunities” (Robin Sharma)
Always keep an open mind, no matter how disciplined or successful you become – remember, every giant has teachers. Every person you meet everyday is a teacher in some sort. Listen to what they have to say and open yourself to the knowledge that exists for taking.
Living each second to the maximum and living dreams mean accepting no limitations, on what exist from this life.
Shatter the rules about what you can become and what you can do with your life.
“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Every leader say that enthusiasm is the key to success. Therefore, expect the very best of everything that this world has to offer with a positive mind and wish same for everyone else. Do not think lack, think abundance for you and for everyone.
“Keep your words positive, because your words become your attitude” (Mahatma Gandhi)
